Hi, my name is James Morford. I'm a 3D Environment Artist from Orange County, California, where I've lived all my life. My first steps into game development began in the late 90s when I first discovered the campaign editor feature for StarCraft. I had more fun designing levels than playing the game itself, and it led to a deep love for modding RTS games. I went on from there to participate in level creation contests and mod teams, and I manged to win 2nd place in Petroglyph games' official mapping contest for Empire At War at age 14.
From there I transitioned into architecture, I figured, hey, I like designing levels, maybe I'll like designing buildings too! But after four years of Architecture and Engineering classes in High School, I decided to shift my career focus to my long time hobby, and my true passion, of game development.
I attended the Art Institute of Orange County, where I graduated with honors attaining a bachelors degree of science in Game Art & Design. Currently I am working a 3D Artist at Frostkeep Studios! I can be found on Polycount, CGSociety and GameArtists under the alias of FuzionInfinity.
